1. Who we are

19 Capital Ltd (“19 Capital”, “we”, “us”) is a Shariah-compliant property finance brokerage registered in England & Wales, company number 15963574, with its registered office at 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

2. The information we collect

When you submit an enquiry through this website we collect your name, email address, phone number, the type of finance you are interested in, and anything you choose to tell us in your message (which may include financial details such as purchase price, deposit or expected rent).

If you go on to become a client, we will collect further information needed to advise you and to arrange finance, including identity documents, income and expenditure details, and information about the property. That collection is explained to you separately at the time.

This website does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies.

3. Why we use it and our lawful basis

We use your enquiry details to respond to you, to assess how we can help, and to arrange an initial consultation. Our lawful basis is that this processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in operating and promoting our brokerage (Article 6(1)(f)).

Where we advise you and arrange finance, we also process your information to comply with legal and regulatory obligations, including anti-money-laundering law (Article 6(1)(c)).

4. Who we share it with

We share your information with lenders and providers on our panel (such as Offa) only where needed to obtain terms or submit an application on your behalf, and with your knowledge. We also use trusted service providers to run this website and our systems: our website is hosted with Vercel, our enquiry database is hosted with Railway, and our email runs on Google Workspace. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards; where data is transferred outside the UK, it is protected by recognised transfer mechanisms such as the UK Addendum to Standard Contractual Clauses.

We never sell your personal information.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not proceed are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted. Client files are kept for at least 6 years after our relationship ends, in line with regulatory record-keeping expectations, and then securely destroyed.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to our use of it, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email fahmi@19capital.co.uk. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised, and the current version will always be available on this page.
